The most remarkable innovations of demopark + demogolf 2011 are awarded by gold and silver medals.
A jury of five magazines has examined carefully all applications and has chosen three gold and nine silver medals.

Gold medal

John Deere iGrade

The iGrade system from John Deere is a completely integrated solution for landscaping. It consists of a tractor and mounted equipment, such as a pull-type scraper. In combination with the iGrade components, a pre-programmed profile can be created practically automatically. Control is effected via GPS, with an RTK correction signal.

Pellenc Poly5-Akku

Not until the development of lithium-ion technology was a suitable rechargeable battery available for use in grounds maintenance devices. With lithium-polymer technology, Pellenc goes a step further: Their rechargeable battery is designed for devices that require particularly high battery power. In comparison, the power density is higher and the weight is lower. In addition, the service life has been considerably enhanced.

Stihl MSA 160 C-BQ

With the MSA 160 C-BQ, Stihl is presenting a battery-powered chainsaw reminiscent of a conventional power saw. The prize was awarded primarily due to the perfect coordination of the individual components, the electronic motor control and the especially designed saw chain.

Silver medal

Amazone Profihopper 4Wdi PowerCompactor

The new Profihopper from Amazone is a zero turning radius mower with all-wheel drive, a high-performance mower mechanism, and a grass collector. The latter is loaded via a screw conveyor system. This combination of features is new on the market.

Avant 525 LPG

With gas power, the 525 LPG multi-function loader has further expanded its range of applications. For instance, it is also suitable for indoor applications.

Baldinger Edgedresser

On golf courses, bunker care is always associated with a high degree of hand labour. The edgedresser is a mechanised solution, mounted on a compact tractor. The edge disc creates a clean bunker edge; the cut-off turfgrass is conveyed either to a tilting container or collecting tray.

Fendt 200 Vario

The Fendt 200 offers the power and comfort of a large tractor, with compact dimensions. This expressly includes driving comfort. The efficiency of the Vario transmission is also higher than that of hydrostatic transmissions.

Fiedler multimatic-control FMC

The Fiedler multimatic-control FMC is an operation and information console, for operating all current (and future) Fiedler equipment. It is based completely on a CAN bus system. In addition, data capture and remote maintenance are possible.

Green Machines / Tennant 500ze

With electric power and lithium-ion rechargeable battery technology, the 500ze street sweeper from Tennant has no exhaust emissions at the operating site. Since it also functions very quietly, it can be used at any time of day or night even in populated areas. The batteries permit a full eight hours of operation on a single charge.

Herkules Freischneider SP 1000 4WD

Thanks to the guide bar which is adjustable in terms of height, length, lateral position and tilt, the all-wheel drive brush cutter from Herkules represents an innovative solution for mowing on hillsides. The power transmission for the two-blade mower is effected via a durable chain. In contrast to conventional brush cutters, the operator does not stand directly next to the device, which is beneficial for safety.

Husqvarna 560 XP

With the professional chainsaw 560 XP, the Swedish manufacturer combines the power of a felling saw with the manoeuvrability of a saw for removing tree limbs. The stratified scavenging technology ensures conformity with current exhaust emission directives. At the same time, the design succeeds in avoiding additional weight.

For winter service on pavements and bicycle routes, box spreaders are usually the solution of choice. For this type of device Rauch now offers electronically controlled grit dosing. This always ensures dosing of the exact amount of gritting material, even with changing driving speed. In addition, it offers the possibility of documentation.
