Experience the aesthetic and functional diversity of turf up close
Under the leadership of the German Turfgrass Society (Deutsche Rasengesellschaft e.V. – DRG), demopark offers visitors the opportunity to explore the performance and diversity of grasses and herbs both visually and through direct sensory experience on its partially redesigned lawn area.
Covering 4,000 m², the display features species and variety demonstrations of turfgrasses, utility lawns, landscape lawns, herb-rich lawns, fertilization trials, irrigation technologies, and a newly installed, and possibly unique, subsurface irrigation demonstration system. Together, these exhibits provide a wealth of information about one of the most important design elements in both private and public green spaces.

The poster exhibition in the Turf Tent complements the topics presented in the outdoor demonstration areas, explaining them in a concise and accessible way. In addition, German universities will showcase their latest research findings at information stands inside the Turf Tent.
The German Greenkeepers Association (Greenkeeper Verband Deutschland e.V. – GVD) serves as a central meeting point for greenkeepers from sports facilities and golf courses, as well as for visitors from the municipal sector.
Last but not least, selected machines and equipment will demonstrate their capabilities in practical live demonstrations, showcasing their potential for establishing, maintaining and improving turf and green spaces.
